Applications are invited for the following posts for DST project on “Thematic Unit of Excellence on Water purification using nanotechnology” in the Department of Chemistry.
DURATION: Initially for a period of one year and extendable to 05 years

* The maximum age limit upto which the SC/ST candidate can work in the project is 30 years.
The maximum age limit upto which other categories can work in project is 28 years.
Other things being equal, preference will be given to SC/ST candidates.
The Co-ordinator has the discretion to restrict the number of candidates to be called for interview to a reasonable limit on the basis of qualifications and experience higher than the minimum prescribed in the announcement.
Application on plain paper giving name, date of birth, age, address, full details of educational qualifications (stating the marks, ranks, year of passing) and experience etc., along with copies of certificates, should reach the following address on or before 15.02.2012.Candidates already working in any project at IIT, Madras should send their application through the Coordinator of the project.
