“Application of Bioinformatics in Medical Sciences”

Biomedical Informatics Centre, RMRIMS (ICMR), Patna is organizing a two days workshop (29th & 30th June 2012) on “Application of Bioinformatics in Medical Sciences”. The topics to be addressed during the workshop include an introduction to Homology modeling, Drug Discovery, Quantitative structure-activity relationship, Protein Structure Prediction and Molecular Simulation, Molecular Evolution and Phylogeny and Functional Genomics, Proteomics. This workshop will be useful for scientists, clinicians and academicians who are involved in basic and clinical research.

Eligibility criteria for applicants include M. Pharm, MBBS, M.D, M. Tech and M.Sc. (Bioinformatics biotechnology). Interested applicants may send their application letter with a small write up to clearly mention the benefit of attending this workshop along with curriculum vitae. 1.Age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/PH Candidates will be as per the government rules.

2. Qualification/degree should be from a reputed Institution/University.

3. Mere fulfilling the essential qualification/experience does not guarantee for selection.

4. Canvassing in any form will be a disqualification.

5. No TA/DA will be paid either for attending the interview or joining the post.  

6. Persons already in regular time scale service under any Government Department / Organizations are not eligible

  Candidates must bring along with them all the relevant documents in original and one set of attested photocopies of the same and one passport size recent colour photograph
