Desirable: One year experience in Horticulture/ Forestry.
GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS FOR CANDIDATES :
1.Age : Crucial date for determining the age limit shall be the closing date for receipt of applications. There is no
maximum age limit for ICAR employees.
2.Last date for receipt of application is 30 days and those from North Eastern region, Andmans and Nicobar islands 45 days from the date of publication of this Advertisement.
3.The qualifications prescribed should have been obtained through recognized Universities/Institutions. The prescribed qualification are minimum requirement and enhanced qualification does not entitle the candidates to be called for Test/Interview. Where the number of applications received in response to this advertisement is large and it may not be convenient/possible for calling all applicants, the competent authority reserves the right to fix criteria to limit the candidates on the basis of qualifications, experience etc.
4.The posts are non-Government under Indian Council of Agricultural Research which is an autonomous body fully funded by Govt. of India. The posts will be governed by New Pension Scheme introduced by Govt. of India w.e.f 01.01.2004.
5.The posts are temporary but likely to continue & also transferable to any where in India.
6.No TA/DA will be paid for attending Test/Interview.
7.Applicants who are already in service should route their applications through their present employer with a clear vigilance certificate and that the applicant will be relieved of his/her duties within one month of receipt of appointment order.
8.Applications should be submitted strictly in the prescribed format (typewritten with latest passport size photograph)
alongwith attested copies of educational/technical experience certificate/Age/Caste etc. to the address given at column (5) within due date. The candidates applying against reserved posts are required to attach the attested copies of relevant certificate issued from the concerned Competent Authority in the proforma as prescribed by the Govt. of India. The Institute follows the Central List in the case of OBCs.
9.The candidate should clearly indicate the Name, location and Sl.No. of post in the application.
10.Separate application should be submitted for each post.
11. Applicant should have registered their names in Employment Exchange otherwise their applications will not be
considered.
12.Application received after the due date for whatsoever the reason including postal delays will not be entertained.
13.Applicant must submit a declaration as to whether he is related to any employees of this Institute or the ICAR and, if so,
name the persons and describe the nature of his/her relationship.
