ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS: M.Sc. in Life Sciences/Biotechnology with at least one year experience in Membrane Biology. Preference will be given to applicants who are well versed in handling yeast cells and acquainted with yeast proteins lipids and lipidomics.

The position is completely temporary and co-terminus with the project. Opening for two Research Positions in Neurobiology of Sleep

Applications are invited for the following two purely temporary posts for basic Sleep research.

One post for RA under DST (maximum duration of the project left - one year)

One post for RA under CSIR (maximum duration of the project left - two years)

The appointments will be for one year and may be extended depending on satisfactory progress of the candidate, for the duration of the project.

QUALIFICATIONS: Ph.D. in any branch of Biological Sciences as evidenced by publication. Ph.D. thesis submitted candidate may be considered, if otherwise found suitable, for Extended-SRF position under CSIR project as per CSIR rules (for one of the posts).

DESIRABLE: For RA position under DST project, candidate with proven record of having experience in working with neuronal/glial primary cell culture will be preferred.
