DETAILS OF QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND AGE REQUIRED FOR THE POSTS
POST: Research Associate – 1 Post
For DST project titled “Mycolic Acid antibody Real Time Inhibition in the serodiagnosis of tuberculosis”
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:- Doctorate degree in Medicine namely M.D./MDS or Ph.D in any field.
AGE: - 40 years (Relaxed upper age limit by two years in case of woman candidates).
REMUNERATION: Rs. 25,000/- per month (consolidated)
NOTE: The Position is temporary and would be terminated within the termination of the Project. No TA and DA will be paid for attending the interview. The selected candidate should be willing to join with immediate effect.
POST: Junior Research Fellow - 1 Post
for ICMR project titled “Molecular epidemiology and Genetic characterization of M. tuberculosis from HIV seronegative and HIV seropositive patients”
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:- M.Sc. in Molecular Biology or M.Sc. in Medical Microbiology, (Preference will be given to the candidate with knowledge of DNA isolation/Spoligotyping/MIRUVNTR/RFLP/Mycobacteriology)
AGE: - 18-30 years (Age relaxation as per rules only)
FELLOWSHIP: Rs.16,000/- for 1st & 2nd Year and Rs. 18000/- for 3rd year (consolidated per month) plus 30% HRA
NOTE: The Position is temporary and would be terminated within the termination of the Project. No TA and DA will be paid for attending the interview. The selected candidate should be willing to join with immediate effect.
POST: Laboratory Technician-1 Post
For DST project titled “Mycolic Acid antibody Real Time Inhibition in the serodiagnosis of tuberculosis”
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:- (1)10+2 with diploma or certificate course in Medical Laboratory technology or its equivalent from recognized centres. (2) With minimum 2 years experience of working in a Bacteriological Laboratory of repute (3) Must be in possession of permanent driving licence for two wheelers. Desirable qualifications: (1) M.Sc in Medical Microbiology (2) Minimum one year experience in RNTCP work.
REMUNERATION: - Rs. 16,666/- per month (consolidated)
NOTE: The Position is temporary and would be terminated within the termination of the Project. No TA and DA will be paid for attending the interview. The selected candidate should be williLng to join with immediate effect.
POST: Senior Laboratory Technician-1 Post for NRL project
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:- (1)10+2 with diploma or certificate course in Medical Laboratory technology or its equivalent from recognized centres. (2) With minimum 2 years experience of working in a Bacteriological Laboratory of repute (3) Must be in possession of permanent driving licence for two wheelers. Desirable qualifications: (1) M.Sc in Medical Microbiology (2) Minimum one year experience in RNTCP work.
REMUNERATION: - Rs. 15,000/- per month (consolidated)
POST: Laboratory Technician for FIND Project- 2 Post
SUPERVISION: The Lab technicians will work under direct supervision of Lab- in charge of the TB lab
REPORT: The Lab technician will report on daily basis to Administrative Head/ Director of the TB Lab designated by FIND India
TERM: 1 year contract, renewable annually subject to satisfactory work performance.
QUALIFICATION:
· B.Sc. (Microbiology/Biotechnology) or higher qualification, or
· Diploma in Medical Lab Technology with minimum three years experience in TB Culture and DST or Rapid TB diagnostics
Candidates with experience in Rapid TB diagnostics would be given preference.
JOB: To assist lab in-charge in implementation of WHO approved newer TB diagnostics, including diagnosis drug resistance in the TB Lab designated.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
1) Conduct testing of patient specimen on LPA and LC at the lab in a timely manner;
2) Manage clinical and laboratory aspects of the lab and ensure collection, recording and reporting of clean, quality data
3) Get trained in performing newer diagnostics tests such as LPA, LC and RS;
4) Implement the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for TB laboratories, including SOPs for specific aspects LPA, LC and RS and specifications for equipment, infection control, etc, to ensure GLP;
5) Provide support to the lab in-charge for all laboratory operations including regular MIS functioning, maintenance of all lab equipments, Logistics of various lab consumables, etc.
6) Conduct all day to day lab activities connected with newer TB diagnostics, ensuring quality control;
7) Assist the lab in-charge in providing monthly / quarterly and annual reports in the prescribed formats;
8) Report any adverse event in the laboratory functioning to the Lab in-charge and FIND India technical team, urgently;
9) Liaise and facilitate with the FIND India technical team on all technical matters related to the laboratory functioning in consultation with Lab. in-charge;
10) Undertake any other job assigned by Lab in-charge and FIND India technical team as per project need;
CONSULTANCY FEE/PROFESSIONAL FEE: Rs.15,000/-p.m.
POST: Laboratory Technician for Emergency Services- 1 Post
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:- Laboratory Technician:-10+2 or equivalent from a recognized Board or Institution/University. 2 years Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology with 1 year experience.
AGE: 18-28 years
REMUNERATION: Rs.9900/- per month consolidated
NOTE: This engagement is purely on contractual basis with fixed emoluments for an initial period of 89 days basis and extendable after satisfactory performance on need basis.
POST: Data Entry Operator for FIND Project- 1 Post
SUPERVISION: The Data Entry Operator will work under direct supervision of Lab- in charge of the TB lab
REPORT: The Data Entry Operator will report on daily basis to Administrative Head/ Director of the TB Lab designated by FIND India
TERM: 1 year contract, renewable annually subject to satisfactory work performance.
QUALIFICATION:
· 10+2 with Diploma/Certificate (6 months or more duration’s course) in computer application from a reputed institute.
· Typing speed of 40 w.p.m. in English and local language.
· Data entry speed minimum 8000 key depressions/hr
· Should be well conversant with various IT and computer operation including MS Word, Excel, Outlook, etc
DESIRABLE: Working knowledge of statistical packages.
JOB:To assist lab in-charge in data management, analysis, recording and reporting, including maintenance of lab MIS in the TB Lab designated.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
1) Get trained in Protocols of various FIND projects, related to data management.
2) Ensure completeness of all data fields in all Lab registers and electronic databases, including data on logistics;
3) Ensuring accuracy of the data entered into the Lab Databases;
4) Ensure regular and timely entry of all relevant data in the computer pertaining to various aspects of FIND projects in a systematic manner to facilitate its analysis.
5) Ensure timely transmission of lab results to the concerned service providers, concerned State officials and FIND Medical Officer, in consultation with the lab authorities;
6) Analyze data and compile report for the lab.
7) Maintenance and up keep of all computers and their accessories in the Laboratory including installation and regular update of antivirus, operating system software etc.
8) Any other job assigned by State authorities or FIND as per project need
CONSULTANCY FEE/PROFESSIONAL FEE: Rs.10,000/- p.m.
POST: Laboratory Assistant (1)
For DST project titled “Mycolic Acid antibody Real Time Inhibition in the serodiagnosis of tuberculosis”
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:-
(1)10+2 or equivalent from a recognized board or Institution/University. 2 years Diploma in Medical Laboratory technology with 1 year experience.
AGE: Between 18 & 25 years.
REMUNERATION: - Rs. 8,333/- per month (consolidated)
NOTE : The Position is temporary and would be terminated within the termination of the Project. No TA and DA will be paid for attending the interview. The selected candidate should be willing to join with immediate effect.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS:
1. This engagement is purely on contractual basis with fixed monthly emoluments.
2. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
