M.P. YOUNG SCIENTIST CONGRESS : FEBRUARY 28 - 29, 2012

The M. P. Council of Science & Technology has launched a programme of promoting the young talent of the State by organization of Young Scientist Congress every year. The Congress aims at identifying budding scientists and providing encouragement to their research plans and programmes.

IMPORTANT DATES
The applications may be submitted online on or before February 10, 2012.
The print formats of Biodata, Undertaking, Certificate and abstract generated after online submission along with full length paper (hard and soft copy) and supporting documents must reach to the Council before February 15, 2012.
ABOUT YOUNG SCIENTIST PROGRAMME:
The M. P. Council of Science & Technology has launched a programme of promoting the young talent of the State by organization of Young Scientist Congress every year. The Congress aims at identifying budding scientists and providing encouragement to their research plans and programmes. “Engineering and Technology” has emerged as important tool in the developmental process at all level. From this year it has been decided to provide “Engineering and Technology” as separate status with the weightage of different engineering branches. Accordingly, from this year there will be 10 awards in the field of engineering and technology.
The first experiment of its kind attracted considerable attention and achieved appreciable success

CONDITIONS:  
 Age on February 28, 2012 should not be more than 32 years for men and 35 years for women. 
2 years research experience after PG Degree in science disciplines on February 28, 2012.
2 years research experience after bachelor degree in the case of Medical, Veterinary and Engineering disciplines on February 28, 2012.
The paper must bear single authorship.
The submitted work should be carried out in the State of M.P.
The research papers will be published by MPCST.
 ENCLOSURES:
Certificate from Head of Department and Supervisor, undertaking, biodata and abstract generated from website along with all documents mentioned in the check list must reach to the Council on before February 15, 2012.
 Age Proof
 Copy of the Marksheet of PG Degree in science disciplines or Bachlor Degree in the case of Medical, Veterinary and Engineering.
 Five Copies of Abstract and Full Research Paper.
 Soft Copy of Full Paper
 INCENTIVES TO AWARDEES:
 A certificate to recognize his/her research work.
 Cash prize of Rs. 25,000/- to Young Scientist Awardees.
  Fellowship for training in any National Institution under Council’s Scheme “Fellowship for Training of Young Scientist” within 2 years after receiving the award in pursuance of his/her research work on which award has been given.
Each candidate should submit his/her research paper in separate envelope mentioning the discipline, Unique ID and “27th MP Young Scientist Congress” on top of the envelope.
