ABOUT THE CONFERENCE: OTAI is organizing its 66th Annual Convention & International Conference on "Innovations in Oils, Fats & Allied Products Towards Sustainability" and “Lipids Expo-2011” during November 18-19, 2011 at Indian Institute of Chemical Technology, Hyderabad, India. Some of the lectures of the Conference will be focused on the “Creative Future of Lipid Chemistry” to commemorate the event of “International Year of Chemistry”. Indian Institute of Chemical Technology, American Oil Chemists’ Society, Japan Oil Chemists’ Society, European Federation for the Science and Technology of Lipids and The Solvent Extractors’ Association of India have extended their support to this event. The Conference will provide an excellent opportunity to bring together all the stake holders in the Lipids (Oils, Fats and Allied Products) & Specialty Oleochemical Industries and Research Organizations on a common platform to network, share resources and provide future directions in the following areas:

Vegetable Oil Industries, Project and Process Engineering Companies/Consultants, Plant & Machinery Manufacturers, Specialty Chemical Manufacturers, Analytical Equipment Manufacturers/Dealers are requested to participate in the Exhibition. Special invitation will be extended to public and local industries exclusively for the exhibition to attract more visitors to the stalls. Exhibition Order Form is enclosed.

The registration fee does not include transport and accommodation charges. There are a number of star hotels and economy hotels in Hyderabad. Charges range from Rs.5,000/- to Rs. 15,000/- in star hotels and Rs.1,000/- to Rs.4,000/- in economy hotels. Limited rooms are available in government guest houses and these rooms will be allocated to participants on priority basis on payment.
