Eligible candidates are invited to attend a WALK-IN-INTERVIEW/WRITTEN TEST on the following date at 9.30 A.M. sharp for the following fellowship on the ad-hoc Scheme entitled “Vitamin A metabolism in relation to sexual dimorphism of adipose tissue development” funded by ICMR. DESIRABLE:1 – 2 years research experience in conducting laboratory & Animal experimental work along with report writing and publication work
AGE:Below 30 years. Relaxation in case of SC/ ST/ OBC/PH candidates as per G.O.I. Rules
CONSOLIDATED SALARY:Rs.16,000/- Plus 30% HRA p.m.(Fixed) without any allowances.
TENURE :Initially for one year and extendable to two more years.
The candidates should bring all original certificates of educational qualification (from SSC onwards), experience and caste along with a photo and set of photo copies duly attested while attending the Walk-in-Interview. Candidates will not be allowed to attend the Interview without Original Certificates.

DBT funded Junior Research Fellow and Research Specialist positions are available in the School of Life Sciences of the University of Hyderabad to investigate the genetic networks that underlie the development of innate and adaptive immune cell types utilizing a combination of genetic, molecular and computational approaches.
Applicants for JRF should have a recent M.Sc. or Integrated Masters (I.M.Sc.) in Biological Sciences with a strong background in molecular biology and immunology from a reputed University. Candidates must have secured aggregate marks greater than 70% or a 7.5 CGPA.
Tentative fellowship amount is Rs. 15,600 consolidated per month. Also candidates with JRF fellowship through CSIR/UGC will have an option to enroll into Ph.D. program. Applicants for the position of research specialist should have a recent B.Sc or M.Sc in Life Sciences with laboratory experience. Staring salary for Research Specialist is 12,000 Rs. per month, which  will be commensurate with experience. Both positions require good written and oral communication skills. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to work in a team environment with an aspiration to learn new techniques as well as explore new scientific areas  are highly desired. A Junior Research Fellow (JRF) and a Senior Research Fellow (SRF) are sought for a three-year, DBT funded project entitled "Allergic Food Ingredients: Molecular level characterization and detection of food allergens for better food safety".
Candidates should have a MSc in Life Sciences, Molecular Biology, Biotechnology or any related area - plus, in the case of the SRF position, two years of related work experience. Working knowledge in the areas of recombinant DNA techniques, protein expression and purification, ELISA, Western blotting methods and plant transformation is desirable, but not essential.

PROJECT 2: Characterization of Plasmdoium falciparum merozoite surface complex for the development of a multicomponent subunit vaccine.
