Postdoc position(Ubiquitin Proteasome System in Protein Quality Control) at NIDDKD, Bethesda

A postdoctoral fellow position is available in the laboratory of Molecular Biology at the National Institutes of Health to study the mechanism by which the ubiquitin-proteasome system eliminates misfolded proteins in eukaryotic cells (Nature 2007 446: 333-337; PNAS 2009 106: 3722-3727; PNAS 2009 106: 2200-2205; Molecular Cell 2011 42:758-770). REQUIREMENTS:
Candidates must have obtained a Ph.D. degree within the last five years. A strong background in biochemistry is required. Previous experience in studying protein structure-function relationships is preferred.
