QUALIFICATION:  The candidates must hold M. Sc degree in Biotechnology securing at least 55% marks. Candidates having experience of working in the area of Plant Biotechnology or having NET qualification will be preferred.
ii) POST:  Data Entry Operator (one):
QUALIFICATION: Candidates must be a graduate in Science and must have done at least one year course in Computers. Those have experience of working in scientific projects will be preferred.
B) Creating a Genomics Platform for Apple Research in India
i) POST: Technical Assistant (one)
QUALIFICATION: Candidates must hold B. Sc or higher degree securing at least 55% marks. The candidate must have the experience of working with Instruments and have knowledge of computers. The job requires extensive field work in apple growing areas of  J & K.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS: M.Sc. with first division or 60% marks or equivalent overall grade point average.
DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS: Knowledge and experience in use of molecular markers for marker assisted selection (markers, mapping populations, linkage maps, gene/QTL mapping), PAGE/Agarose electrophoresis, genotyping, use of bioinformatics tools, primer designing etc. Experience in handling field and lab experiments, documentation of field and lab data sets, use of computer applications.

QUALIFICATIONS AND DESIRABLE EXPERIENCES: ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATION: A minimum pass in Intermediate. However, Graduates/Diploma holders in Agricultural Sciences or related subjects with experience are encouraged.
DESIRABLE QUALIFICATION: Working experience in Sorghum breeding activities, in the conduct of field and pot experimentation, crop raising, crop management and post harvest activities. Experience in field data recording, use of computers for data digitization. Should be able to attend the works as and when assigned by the PI.
SALARY PER MONTH:Rs.8,000 (fixed) per month
The above positions are purely temporary and on coterminus basis for the period of the project.
