WALK IN INTERVIEW

A walk in interview will be held on 03.09.2012 at 10.00 AM at Bioinformatics Centre and ARIS Cell, Madras Veterinary College, CHENNAI - 600 007 for recruiting 5 Senior Research Fellow (SRF) for the Central Sector Scheme on “BIOTECH CENTRE FOR FECUNDITY GENES ” at 1. Post Graduate Research Institute in Animal Sciences (PGRIAS), Kattupakkam-603203 2. Sheep Breeding and Research Station, Sandynallah, Ooty

3. Mecheri Sheep Research Station, Pottaneri, Salem District

4. Department of Animal Genetics and Breeding, Madras Veterinary College, Chennai – 600007

and

5. Department of Animal Genetics and Breeding, Veterinary College and Research Institute, Namakkal – 637002

The post is purely temporary and need based. The recruited SRFs should not claim any regular employment at a later date. The service is liable to be terminated at any time without assigning any reasons thereof. The service of the persons so engaged will automatically stand terminated with the termination of project. The duration of the project is two years. The details of the post and its minimum qualifications are as follows.

SALARY: Rs. 16,000 (Consolidated) + HRA

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Post Graduate Degree: M.V.Sc. in Animal Genetics and Breeding / Animal Biotechnology/ Veterinary Physiology / Veterinary Biochemistry or M.Sc. in  Genetics/Biotechnology/Biochemistry/Zoology or equivalent

Note:

• The maximum age limit is 35 years as on date of interview.

• Candidate should bring the filled in application with recent passport photo and submit the attested photocopies of certificates in support of evidences for Date of birth, Educational qualifications/Technical qualifications, Community and Experience etc. • Interested persons should send confirmation Email to hodbitmvc@tanuvas.org.in/kumarasamy@tanuvas.org.in prior to interview date.

• Originals should be produced for verification at the time of Interview.

• The selection of candidates will be purely based on their academic performance, written test, interview, work experience, publications, etc.

• No TA/DA will be paid to attend the interview.

• The decision of selection committee will be final for number of post and binding in all aspects.

• The selected candidates will have to execute a bond for Rs.5,000/- before joining duty along with physical fitness certificate.
