Walk-in for JRF at TANUVAS

WALK-IN INTERVIEW
A Walk-in Interview would be held for One Junior Research Fellow (JRF) post for the DST sponsored project on “Herbal extracts as an alternative for the control of ticks infesting cattle”” at the Department of Veterinary Parasitology, Veterinary College and Research Institute, Namakkal - 637 002. The post is purely on temporary basis and need based and they should not claim any regular employment at a later date. The service is liable to be terminated at any time without assigning any reasons thereof. The service of the persons so engaged will automatically stand terminated upon closure of the project. The duration of the project is for Three years. The details of the post and its qualification are as follows
NAME OF THE POST: Junior Research Fellow (JRF)
NUMBER OF POST: One
QUALIFICATIONS : M.V.Sc., in any discipline, preference will be given to related subject (Or) B.V.Sc., with two years of working experience
 Or
Post graduate degree in science discipline
SALARY: 14,000/- (for I and II year) and ` 15,000/- (for III year) HRA and MA will be given as per funds available with hosting institute
or
12,000/- (for I and II year) and ` 14,000/- (for III year) HRA and MA will be given as per funds available with hosting institute
Candidates with OGPA of 6.5 / 10.0 (or) First class or equivalent grade/ marks are preferred. Candidates having research experience in a reputed laboratory / institute and capable of handling of cattle, analytical equipments, computer and statistical analysis software will be preferred.
Filled in application in the prescribed Proforma should be brought along with relevant original certificates (Course completion certificate, provisional degree certificate, Degree certificate) and photo identity to the Department of Veterinary Parasitology, Veterinary College and Research Institute, Lathuwadi, Mohanur road, Namakkal - 637 002, on the day of Walk-in Interview. A one hour objective type of written test followed by interview would be held on the same day. The selection of the candidates will be purely based on their merit in the written test, interview, work experience, publications etc. No TA / DA will be provided for attending the interview. The applicants already working should bring No Objection Certificates (NOC) from their current employer on the day of walk-in interview. The selected candidates will have to execute a bond for Rs. 5,000/- before joining duty along with Physical Fitness certificate.
