Applications are invited from suitable candidates for one position of Junior Research Fellow in a DST funded research project entitled "Identification and functional validation of Type III PKS from A.marmelos involved in anthranilic acid derived alkaloid biosynthesis" at Rajiv Gandhi Centre for Biotechnology, Thiruvananthapuram.

 ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS: M.Sc. in Lifescience with consistent good academic grades (minimum of 60% aggregate) essential.

AGE:Below 28 years as on 01.09.2012.

EMOLUMENTS: Rs. 12,000/- + 20% HRA per month.

Duration:Three years or till termination of the project (whichever is earlier).

Only those fulfilling the above criteria need apply and in the event of more than 10 candidates being short-listed for selection procedure, a written test will be held. Candidates qualifying in the written test will then be assessed at a selection interview.

Selection to the position will not entitle the candidate to any future positions at RGCB (permanent or otherwise). As with all project positions at RGCB, the position will be co terminus with end of the project.
