JRF post(Floristic composition and its diversity of the alpine pasture of Zemu and Lhonak Valley of Sikkim) at University of Calcutta

Interested and eligible candidates are requested to appear before a Selection Committee on September 04, 2012 at 12:30 PM in the room of the Head, Department of Botany, University of Calcutta, 35, Ballygunge Circular Road, Kolkata-700019 for the following post in the DST, New Delhi funded Research Project under Botany Department.
One Junior Research Fellow for the project entitled “Floristic composition and its diversity of the alpine pasture of Zemu and Lhonak Valley of Sikkim” under the supervision of Dr. Debabrata Maity, Department of Botany, C.U.
REQUISITE QUALIFICATION: M. Sc. in Botany from a recognized university under UGC with valid NET/GATE. Preference will be given to those having specialization in Taxonomy.
TENURE OF THE FELLOWSHIP: Three years.
REMUNERATION: Rs. 12,000/- (Consolidated).
Candidates willing to appear for the interview must bring (i) All originals of the testimonials, and (ii) Two sets of complete applications furnishing biodata on a plain paper enclosing all attested copies of testimonials. No TA/DA is permissible for the interview.
