INDIAN VETERINARY RESEARCH INSTITUTE

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for engagement of one Senior Research Fellow in research projects entitled “Detoxification and Utilization of Key-agro Forest based Non-Conventional Oil Cakes in the Feeding of Livestock” subject to terms and conditions in force in DBT for such engagements. The service of persons so engaged will be co-terminus with termination of the project or earlier without assigning any reasons thereof.

The candidates will not be paid any TA/DA and will have to make their own arrangements for stay etc. for attending the interview.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATION :Master degree in Science (with two years of experience in animal nutrition related DBT/ICAR funded projects) / Veterinary Science with specialization Biotechnology /Animal Nutrition / Biochemistry

DESIRABLE QUALIFICATION:Experience of rumen molecular biology work related to animal nutrition; handling of livestock, computers & analytical equipments like RT-PCR, ELISA, HPLC and GLC etc.

AGE LIMIT: The upper age limit as on the date of interview shall be 35 years for men and 40 years for women. The relaxation of 5 years in case of Women/SC/ST and 3 years in case of OBC candidates applicable.
