WALK IN INTERVIEW

Eligible candidates are invited for WALK IN INTERVIEW at this Centre for the 4 temporary posts mentioned below, under the three Projects for the periods mentioned with the projects. The requirement for the posts is detailed below:

         

Project I: Crop Pest Surveillance and Advisory Project (CROPSAP)a collaborative programme with State Agriculture Department, Maharashtra for a period of six (6) months from the date of appointment, which may may be extended further

1. Post : Research Associate (one Post)          

Emolument (Fixed) P.M. Max.: Rs 23000/ fixed + HRA      

Age Limit *Men 40 years and women 45 years         

Qualification: Essential: M.Sc.  in Plant Pathology/Plant Protection/Entomology/Botany with specialization in plant pathology

Desirable: Ph. D in Plant Pathology/Plant Protection/Entomology and Working knowledge in computer application. Good Communication and writing skills, Spoken and written knowledge   in English/Marathi.

Job Requirements: Data Collection, compilation and analysis. Preparation of documents on computer.

2. Post: Computer Operator(one  Post)           

Emolument (Fixed) P.M. Max.: Rs 8000/- fixed       

Age Limit *:18-35 yrs.          

Qualification: Essential10+2 with diploma/degree/course in Computers from recognized/ reputed institute.

Desirable: Graduate in Life Sciences with sound computer knowledge and   proficiency in English and Marathi typing experience in relevant field.

Job Requirements: Operating MS-Office, Corel, Internet Surfing, data entry and document preparation.

Project II: Establishment of a DUS Centre at National Research Centre on Pomegranate (NRCP) Solapur, Maharashtra for pomegranate for a period of one(1) year from the date of appointment, which may be extended further

1. Post:  Technical Assistant (one Post)

Emolument (Fixed) P.M. Max.:         Rs.8000/- (fixed)

Age Limit *:18-35 yrs.          

Qualification: Essential: Agri. Diploma (2 years) in first division     

Desirable: Graduate in Agriculture/Horticulture from recognized university  

Job Requirements: Assisting in various field, laboratory trials and data entry on computer.

Project III. Network Project for Mitigating the Bacterial Blight Disease (BBD) of Pomegranate in Maharashtra, Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh. Appointment will be upto March 31, 2012  which is likely to be extended till October 31, 2012

1. Post: Training Helper(one  Post)     

Emolument (Fixed) P.M. Max.: Rs.6000/- (fixed)

Age Limit *:   18-35 yrs.       

Qualification: Essential: 10+Agri. Diploma (2 years)            

Desirable: Graduate in Agriculture/Horticulture from recognized university with experience in operating computer

Job Requirements: Assisting in various field operations, surveys, recording data, compilation

* Relaxation of age in case of women SC/ST/OBC will be as per Government of India norms

VENUE: National Research Centre on Pomegranate, National Highway 9 Bypass Road, Shelgi, Solapur

Date: January 18, 2012 Day: Wednesday Time: 10AM to 5 PM

Terms and Conditions: 

1. The above positions are purely on temporary basis and are co-terminus with the projects.  There is no provision of re-employment after termination of projects.

2. No TA, DA will be paid for attending the interview.

3. The applicants must bring with them original documents and a set of attested photocopies, along with one passport size photograph and a brief resume at the time of interview.

4. If already employed, No objection certificate from his employer and experience certificate in original should be produced.

5. Canvassing in any form will lead to cancellation of candidature.

6. The decision of Director, NRCP, Solapur would be final and binding in all aspects.
