NAME OF THE PROJECT: “Improving postrainy sorghum varieties to meet the growing grain and
fodder demand in India. (International collaborative project between DSRICRISAT-ILRI-QDPI Australia –UQ Australia.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
SPECIALIZATION: Crop/ plant physiology Botany /, Agronomy/ soil science/Plant Breeding
ESSENTIAL: Ph.D. in relevant subject or M.Sc. with first division or 60% marks or equivalent overall grade point average with at least two years of research experience in relevant discipline.
DESIRABLE: Experience in handling field and controlled conditions experiments, managing and collecting required data sets in multilocational trials with the assistance of local scientists. Hand on experiences in using latest instruments used in physiological research. Well versed with computer applications and
statistics packages
FELLOWSHIP: Rs 23000/pm plus HRA for MSc holder and Rs 24000/pm plus HRA for PhD holders
AGE LIMIT: 40 years for men and 45 years for women

They have to produce all the original certificates at the time of interview for verification. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview. Decision of the Director, DSR is final and binding in all respects.
