Research Scientist
The research proposal should describe the research they would like to undertake and the facilities required. Candidates may identify a faculty member or a research group at NBRC with whom they would like to be associated during their tenure. Those who would like to work in inter-disciplinary areas can identify more than one faculty member.
Applicants should provide the following information:

2. They should request 3 referees to send their confidential evaluation directly to rscientist@nbrc.res.in
Applications forms are available with the Registrar, NBRC and can be collected in person or obtained through post by sending a demand draft of Rs 50/-(non-refundable) in favour of Director, NBRC payable at Manesar/Gurgaon. Application forms can also be downloaded from the NBRC website www.nbrc.ac.in.

b. There are also required to check the check-list given at the end of application form before they send their filled-in and signed application form.
Completed application forms in the prescribed format may be sent by post along with photocopies of all qualification / experience certificates / Synopsis / Research Proposal / List of Publications, two recent signed passport size photographs and Demand Draft of Rs.500/- [non-refundable( no fees in case of SC / ST candidates)] in favour of Director, NBRC payable at Manesar/Gurgaon should be sent to the Registrar, National Brain Research Centre, NH-8, Manesar - 122050, Haryana with the subject line clearly stating 'Application for Research Scientist'. Incomplete Application forms will not be considered and no correspondence with such applicants shall be entertained.
Accomodation:
Research Scientists will be provided with suitable accommodation.
Applications are invited from qualified and exceptionally talented Ph.D. degree holders with ability to carry out Neuroscience Research independently.
Duration : The tenure of selected Research scientist will be for a period of 3 years (subject to yearly evaluation extendable year after year).
Eligibility : A Ph.D. degree in any branch of science /Engineering / Maths / Physics / Chemistry / Psychology with interest in Brain Research.
