Bose Institute invites applications for the recruitment of Junior Research Fellow (not more than eighteen) under Institutional Programmes – (i) Structure, Function and Engineering of Protein, (ii) Bioinformatics and Computational biology, (iii) Molecular Medicine, (iv) Microbial Genomics and Infection Biology, (v) Development of Systems Biology and (vi) Basic and Applied Problems in Physical and Environmental Sciences. Consistent academic records with a good M. Sc. / M.Tech. Degree in any branch of Physical, Chemical or Biological sciences with NET / GATE qualifications. Students appeared for the M.Sc. / M.Tech Examination may also apply. However, they can be appointed if selected provided the degree is awarded before the date of interview. Selected students are required to go for an orientation of three months in at least three laboratories after which they will be placed in a particular laboratory after mutual discussion with any of the faculty member. Students are also required to complete course work successfully during the period before applying for Ph.D. Registration.
A few (2-3) position of RAs may be available for Ph.D. degree holder candidates in Physical/Chemical/Biological Sciences.

FELLOWSHIP / ASSCIATESHIP : Rs. 12,000/- p.m.(JRF) (GATE / NET-LS qualified candidates) and Rs. 16,000/ p.m. (NET-JRF qualified candidates) , Rs. 22,000/ p.m. ( RA), plus admissible HRA and Medical benefit.
AGE : Below 28 years (JRF), 35 years ( RA) (relaxable in case of SC/ST/OBC/WOMEN candidates only).
