Applications are invited for the following posts in an ICMR funded project entitled “Efflux pumps, OprD porin, AmpC β-lactamases and carbapenemases in clinical isolates of Burkholderia cepacia complex” under Dr Vikas Gautam, Associate Professor, department of Medical Microbiology, PGIMER, Chandigarh. Eligible and interested candidates are requested to appear, with application letter and relevant documents, in the interview scheduled on 9th January (Monday), 2011 at 11.00 AM in the department of Medical Microbiology (kindly report in department office), PGIMER, Chandigarh.
1. POST: Senior Research Fellow (non-medical)
PAY: Rs 18,000 per month (+20% HRA)
DURATION: Two years or termination of project whichever is earlier.
QUALIFICATIONS: M.Sc. in Microbiology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry
(Experience in molecular techniques including standardization of PCR, and RT-PCR will be given priority) Two years of experience post M.Sc.
2. POST: Laboratory Attendant
PAY: Rs 11,068 per month (fixed)
DURATION: Two years or termination of project whichever is earlier.
QUALIFICATIONS: Matriculation (10th Board with science subjects)
