Employment Notice for Walk-in-interview
Walk-in-interview will be held in the Division Plant Pathology, Indian Agricultural Research Institute, New Delhi 110012 to recruit two outstanding personnel for the post of Senior Research Fellow in the following DBT funded Dual-institutional project.

PRINCIPAL INVESTIGATOR (PI): Dr. A.Kumar, Coordinator & Principal Investigator
NAME OF POST AND DURATION: Senior Research Fellow (Three Years)
NO. OF POST: Two
EMOLUMENTS (FIXED) PM: Rs 16000/-plus 30% HRA for the first two years (Fixed) and Rs 18000/-plus 30% HRA for third year
QUALIFICATIONS
ESSENTIAL:
1. M.Sc (Plant Pathology)or M.Sc. (Biotechnology)or M.Sc. (Microbiology)or MSc. (Molecular Biology)
2. NET/GATE or Equivalent qualification
DESIRABLE:
Experience on
1. Hands on training with Bacteriological, Molecular Biological and Analytical (Chemistry/Biochemistry) techniques as evident from publications or patents,
2. Thorough knowledge in Biochemistry or Analytical chemistry or Natural Product Chemistry,
3. Proficiency in computer and molecular or sequence data analysis, 4. Experience in Genomics/ Proteomics/Metabolomics tools
TERMS & CONDITIONS
(i) The age should be maximum 35 years for SRF (Relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST/Women & 3 years for OBC).
(ii) The applicant must submit attested copies of certificates along with application and a brief of research work done vis-à-vis publications in peer reviewed journals during post graduation & present employment and two passport size photographs. Applicant must bring with them original documents at the time of interview for verification.
(iii) All eligible candidates are requested to be present 30 minutes before schedule time on the date of interview for necessaries formalities
(iv) No objection certificate from the employer/ university, in case he/ she is in employment elsewhere.
(v) The selected candidates shall not claim for regular appointments at this Institute as the fellowship/post is purely temporary and co terminus with respective Project/Schemes
(vi) The continuation of the Senior Research Fellow will depend upon the progress reviewed every six months by the Principal investigator.
(vii) No TA/DA will be paid to attend the interview. Interview will be held on 20th Dec 2011
(viii) Any other clarifications can be had on the date of interview
(ix) The decision of the competent authority will be final and binding in all respects.
(x) Canvassing in any form will disqualify the candidate
(xi) Place of posting is in Division of Plant Pathology, IARI, New Delhi -12
