Walk –In- Interview
A walk- in – interview for filling up the following temporary positions as detailed below will be held in this institute on the following dates shown below:
Title of the project & PI: NAIP Project entitled “Nature of interactions among the entomopathogenic nematodes, their bacterial symbionts and the insect hosts”. Reg No.NAIP/Comp-4/C3005/2008-09 Principal Investigator:Prof. (Mrs.) Sudershan Ganguly, Principal Scientist, Division of Nematology, IARI, New Delhi-110012
1. POSITION: Research Associate (RA)
NO OF POST: One Position (Div. of Nematology)
QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE: M.Sc/PhD in Nematology/Zoology/Entomology/Plant Pathology/Microbiology/ Life Sciences / Biotechnology/ Biochemistry.
Desirable: Experience in molecular techniques related to Entomopathogenic nematodes and their bacteria; bioinformatics tools and computers.
REMUNERATION: 23,000/- (forM.Sc.Candidates) plus H.R.A.as admissible under the rules.
24,000/- (for Ph. D) plus H.R.A. as admissible under the rules
DATE, TIME & VENUE OF INTERVIEWS: 09- 12- 2011; 10.00 AM; Conference Hall, Div. of Nematology , IARI, New Delhi-110012
DURATION OF THE PROJECT: Upto 31.3.2012 or till the termination of project whichever is earlier.
2. POSITION: Senior Research Fellow (SRF)
NO OF POST: One Position (Div. of Nematology)
QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE: M.Sc in Nematology/Zoology/Entomology/ Plant Pathology/Microbiology/ Life Sciences with specialization in bacteriology.
Desirable: Experience in biochemical, Molecular & biotechnical tools related to bacteria and nematodes.
RREMUNERATION: 16,000/- plus H.R.A. as admissible under the rules.

DURATION OF THE PROJECT: Upto 31.3.2012 or till the termination of Project whichever is earlier.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS:
1. Maximum age limit for Research Associate (i) 40 years for men (ii) 45 years for women.
2. Relaxation in age for SC/ST/OBC candidates as per GOI norms.
3. No Objection and experience certificate from the employer in case he/she is in employment.
4. Positions are purely temporary and co-terminus with the project. Selected candidates will not be entitled to claim for regular appointments/absorption either in this institute or ICAR.
5. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
6. Candidates may appear for walk-in-interview with bio-data, photographs and original testimonials.
7. Candidates reaching after specified timing will not be entertained.
8. Canvassing in any form will disqualify the candidature. The Director’s decision will be final and binding in all respect.
