Walk-in-Interview will be held on 29th November, 2011 at 3:30 p.m. in the Seminar Room of Plant Biology Division at the Centenary Campus of Bose Institute, P-1/12, C.I.T. Scheme VII M, Kolkata- 700054 for one position of Junior Research Fellow in the ICAR (NFBSFARA) sponsored sub-project entitled “Development of pod borer resistant transgenic pigeonpea and chickpea” under Prof. Sampa Das and Dr. Debabrata Basu, Division of Plant Biology.. The project is tenable upto 31st December, 2013.
Details of qualification, fellowship, age etc. are as follows.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATION: A good M.Sc. degree in any branch of Life Sciences with ICMR-PGI National Eligibility Test / CSIR-UGC NET / GATE qualification.
DESIRABLE QUALIFICATION: Basic research experience in Biochemical and Molecular Biological studies on Arabidopsis system.
FELLOWSHIP: Rs. 16,000/- p.m., plus admissible HRA and Medical benefit.
AGE: Below 28 years (relaxable in case of SC/ST/OBC/WOMEN candidates only as per rule).
