N O T I F I C A T I O N

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for the following posts on adhoc basis for a DBT funded project entitled “Establishment of high-throughput mass spectrometry-based screening for lysosomal storage disorders using dried blood spots” - under Dr. Rita Christopher, Professor and Head, Department of Neurochemistry and Principal Investigator.

1. NAME OF THE POST - Junior Research Fellow

NO. OF POST - One

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION - M.Sc., degree in Biochemistry with minimum 60% marks. Should have minimum two years research experience  in analytical biochemistry and molecularbiology

DESIRABLE: CSIR-NET Qualified candidates

MAXIMUM AGE LIMIT - 28 years

EMOLUMENTS - Rs.12, 000/- p.m. + 30% HRA

DURATION OF THE PROJECT - Three years

Initial appointment will be made for a period of 6 months which will be extendable every 6 months for 3 years (or till the end of the project) depending upon the performance of the candidate

2. NAME OF THE POST - Lab Assistant

NO. OF POST - One

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION - M.Sc., degree in Biochemistry

MAXIMUM AGE LIMIT - 28 years

EMOLUMENTS - Rs.8,000/- p.m. (Consolidated)

DURATION OF THE PROJECT - Three years

Initial appointment will be made for a period of 6 months which will be extendable every 6 months for 3 years (or till the end of the project) depending upon the performance of the candidate
