RECRUITMENT OF FIELD ASSISTANTS

Walk-in-interview is proposed to be conducted to recruit Field Assistants for the National Rainfed Area Authority of India (NRAA) funded research project at Institute of Forest Genetics & Tree Breeding, Coimbatore (Tamil Nadu), as scheduled below:

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor degree in Plant Sciences/Commerce/ Economics / Agricultural Economics/Sociology/ Ecology/ Botany/Agriculture/Forestry

AGE: 25 years as on 18th November, 2011 (Relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC candidates).

TERMS AND CONDITIONS:

1. Age limit is 25 years as on  18th November, 2011 (Relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC candidates).

2. Candidates should submit their application downloaded from the website of this Institute, in person on the date of interview from 08.00 AM to 10.00 AM.  Applications submitted after 10.00 AM on the date of interview will not be entertained.

3. Emoluments: Rs.9000/-. 

4. The project is implemented in Tamil Nadu and Kerala and therefore candidates with fluency in Tamil or Malayalam is a must.

5. The positions are temporary and co-terminus with the project.

6. Candidates are advised to bring the bio-data duly filled in as per the prescribed format which can be downloaded from the website address http://ifgtb.icfre.gov.in

7. Candidates desirous of attending the walk-in-interview should bring original testimonials on educational qualifications and community certificate for verification. Attested copies of the same are to be attached with the bio-data form while appearing for the interview. Candidates without Provisional Certificate/Degree Certificate awarded by the Universities need not attend the interview.

8. No TA/DA will be paid for participating in the interview.

GENERAL CONDITIONS:

1.   Only Indian nationals are eligible.

2. The applicants should ensure that they satisfy the eligibility criteria.

3. Candidates working in Government/public sector undertakings, autonomous organizations must obtain a “No Objection Certificate” from their employer and produce at the time of interview.

4. Upper age limit is 25 years for Field Assistant as on    .11.2011 with relaxation up to a maximum of 5 years and 3 years in respect of SC/ST and OBC respectively.

5. The interview starts at 10.00 a.m.

6. Candidates are advised to bring the bio-data duly filled in the prescribed format (format can be downloaded from the website) along with the attested copies of all the educational qualifications, experience certificates and other relevant documents.  No documents should be sent to this office in advance.

7. Original certificates will be verified at the time of interview.

8. Recruitment for the above temporary positions is governed by rules of the Indian Council of Forestry Research & Education and does not guarantee subsequent employment in any Institutes under the Council.

9. The position is on temporary basis, co-terminus with the project or earlier depending on the performance of the candidate.

10. No TA/DA will be paid for participating in the interview.

11. Canvassing in any form will disqualify the candidate.
