Applications are invited from Indian Citizens for the post of Junior Research Fellow one for each
project as mentioned below. All the posts are co-terminus with the projects.
Project No. 1 : Indo-Korean collaborative Project entitled “Mycobacterium tuberculosis infection : understanding the role of microRNAs in regulating the immune response of macrophages” under Prof. Joyoti Basu, Dept. of Chemistry. The presume date of termination of the project is 22nd August 2014.
Project No. 2 : DST sponsored Project entitled “Stress-induced regulation of extracytoplasmic sigma factors in mycobacteria” under Prof. Manikuntala Kundu, Dept. of Chemistry. The project is tenable upto 6th December 2013.
Project No. 3 : ICMR sponsored Project entitled “Role of the secretory antigen HP0175 in Helicobacter pylori-mediated induction of autopagy” under Prof. Manikuntala Kundu, Dept. of Chemistry. The project is tenable upto 29th March 2014.
Details of qualification, fellowship, age etc. are as follows :
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATION FOR PROJECT NO. 1: A good M.Sc. in any branch of Life Sciences with
CSIR-UGC NET Fellowship / ICMR-JRF / DBT-JRF qualification.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATION FOR PROJECT NO. 2 & 3: A good M.Sc. in any branch of Life Sciences with
CSIR-UGC NET Fellowship / ICMR-JRF qualification.
FELLOWSHIP: Rs. 16,000/- p.m., plus admissible HRA for above mentioned three projects.
AGE: Below 28 years (relaxable in case of SC/ST/OBC/WOMEN candidates only as per rule).
