DETAILS OF ESSENTIAL & DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS

TECHNICAL ASSISTANT – Three Posts Unreserved(PB 2 in the scale of pay of Rs. 5200-20200 Grade Pay Rs. 2800)

Essential:

i. Three years degree course in any discipline from UGC-recognized University.

ii. Three years experience in laboratory of any reputed institution.

Desirable:

i. Certificate Course/Diploma from a recognized Institution or any other qualification in operation/maintenance etc. of laboratory based equipment/jobs recognized by the University.

Age limit: Maximum 35 years as on 01.01.2012.

LABORATORY ASSISTANT – Two Posts Unreserved(PB 2 in the scale of pay of Rs. 5200-20200 Grade Pay Rs. 2000)

Essential:

i. Passed Sr. Secondary School [10+2] Examination with Science subject or equivalent with Science.

ii. Having at least three years experience in handling sophisticated Scientific Appliances, Glassware, Chemicals and Instrumentations.

Desirable:

i. Graduation in Physics/Chemistry/Microbiology/Ethno botany/Floriculture/Geography/Computer application/Life Sciences.

Age limit: Maximum 35 years as on 01.01.2012.

LABORATORY ATTENDANT – Five Posts Unreserved, Two Posts Reserved for OBC & One Post Reserved for SC   (PB 2 in the scale of pay of Rs. 5200-20200 Grade Pay Rs. 1800)

Essential:

i. Passed Sr. Secondary School [10+2] Examination with science subjects.

ii. Preference will be given to those who have experience of working in any Scientific Laboratory.

Age limit: Maximum 35 years as on 01.01.2012.

The International Symposium on 'New processes and applications for traditionally used plants', is to be held in New Delhi on 14-15 February 2012. The purpose of this symposium is to bring together scientists and students from academia, research institutions, industry and government to report on basic and applied aspects of research on natural products from plants and microbes. The emphasis of this conference will be placed on presentations and discussions of fundamental and applied research and implementation of research projects on the discovery, development, safety, and proper use of natural products.

All interested individuals are encouraged to attend, (attendance does not require paper presentation), present papers and engage in the exchange of scientific data and information.

POST 1: Scientist B- Medical (Physician) (One): Rs. 41,563/- p.m. consolidated
