Essential: Ph.D or M.Sc Degree in the following subjects with 1st Division or 60% marks or equivalent overall grade point average in Dairy Microbiology/Food Microbiology/ Agricultural Microbiology /Biochemistry / General  Microbiology /Life Sciences or allied disciples with two year research experience as evidenced from fellowship/associate ship/training ship/or published papers in standard journals. Desirable: (i) Preference will be given to candidates have experience in the field  of biosensor, analyzing milk & milk products and food samples for microbiological quality parameters preferably familiar with food analysis for drugs, aflatoxins and hygiene indicator organisms etc. (ii)  Good knowledge of statistics/ software optimization, proficiency in computer application particularly in use of MS office.

Age Limit:

40 year for Men and 45 years for Women in case of RA on the date of Interview.

                35 year for Men and 40 years for Women in case of SRF on the date of Interview.

18-45 years on the date of Interview for Office Assistant.

18-45 years on the date of Interview for Data Entry Operator.

The above positions are purely temporary and will be filled in on Contractual basis.  The selected candidate shall have no right/claim for regular appointment at this Institute, as the fellowship is co-terminus with the Project/Scheme.  Interested candidates may attend Walk-in-Interview on the dates as indicated against each project/scheme alongwith original certificates and typed bio-data with one set of attested copies of each their certificates with passport size photograph.  No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.

3. Preference will also be given to candidates having experience.

 JOB REQUIREMENTS:

The project is field oriented and incumbents would be required to undertake extensive touring of the beneficiary families in the villages of four blocks of Hoshiarpur District with its central point at Talwara. Research Associates would be required to provide technical guidance to the farmers by organizing training programmes and field camps, delivery of input services, collection and compilation of information to study the impact of technology transfer on improved productivity of livestock, income and employment generation.

 AGE LIMIT: Upper age limit is 40 years on the date of interview. Age relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST and women candidates and 3 years for OBC candidates is permissible.
