WALK-IN INTERVIEW ON 11.01.2012
A Walk –in Interview will be held on 11.01.2012 at 10.00 AM for recruiting Five Senior Research Fellow (SRF) and Five Junior Research Fellow (JRF) for the National Agriculture Development Programme (NADP) scheme on “Centre for Polytechnic courses in Animal Sciences” functioning at the TANUVAS- Regional Research Centre, Pudukkottai-622 004. The post is purely on temporary basis and need based and they should not claim any regular employment at a later date. The service is liable to be terminated at any time without assigning any reasons thereof. The service of the persons so engaged will automatically stand terminated with the termination of the project. The duration of the project is one year.
The details of the post and its minimum qualifications are as follows:
1. NAME OF THE POST: Senior Research Fellow (SRF)
NO. OF POST: 5 (Five)
SALARY: As per ICAR guidelines
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Post graduate degree in Veterinary / Agriculture and allied sciences / Animal / Dairy Science / Food Science and other related subjects
2. NAME OF THE POST: Junior Research Fellow (JRF)
NO. OF POST: 5 (Five)
SALARY: As per ICAR guidelines
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Under graduate degree in Veterinary / Agriculture and allied sciences / Animal / Dairy Science / Food Science and other related subjects
DESIRABLE:
For JRF: Candidates with an OGPA of 3.5/ 4.0 (or) 8.0 /10.0 or above (or) First class or equivalent grade / marks will be preferred.
For SRF:
1. Candidates with an OGPA of 3.5/4.0 (or) 8.0 /10.0 or above (or) First class or equivalent grade / marks will be preferred.
2. Candidates with post graduate degree in Veterinary Sciences and Candidates with Ph.D., degree in the mentioned non veterinary subjects will be given preference.
3. Candidates having research experience in a reputed laboratory / institute and capable of handling analytical equipments, computer and statistical analysis software will be an added advantage.
Age limit:The maximum age limit is 35 years as on date of interview (relaxable as per government norms for SC/ST/MBC/BC candidates)
Filled in application in the prescribed proforma should be brought along with relevant original certificates (Course completion certificate, provisional degree certificate, degree certificate and experience certificate if any) and photo identity to the TANUVAS-Regional Research Centre, Industrial Estate Post , Andakkulam Salai,Pudukkottai – 622 004, on the day of Walk-in Interview. An objective type written test followed by interview would be held on the same day. The selection of the candidates will be purely based on their performance in the written test, Interview, work experience, publications etc. No TA / DA will be provided for attending the Interview.
The applicants already working should bring the No Objection Certificates (NOC) from their current employer on the day of walk-in-interview. The selected candidates will have to execute a bond for Rs. 5,000/- before joining duty along with Physical Fitness Certificate.
