SALARY: M.Sc. Rs. 16,000/- p.m. + HRA,

For Veterinarian (MVSc) Rs. 18000/- p.m. + HRA

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS.: Master’s degrees (M.Sc/M.V.Sc) in       Biotechnology / Animal Genetics & Breeding / Animal Biochemistry / Animal Physiology / Life Sciences / veterinary Sciences.

DESIRABLE: Working experience in basic molecular and biochemical techniques, RNA handling, real-time PCR and gene expression analysis.

I)          The upper age limit for SRF will be as under:-

1.         35 years for Men.

2.         40 years for Women

3.         Age relaxation will be given to SC/ST/OBC candidates as per rules.

II)        The applicants must bring with them original documents and a brief of research work done during post graduation, and latest two passport size photographs.

III)       Number of positions is tentative and there are possibilities of increase or decrease.

IV)       A panel of selected candidates will also be made which any be utilized for filling of positions of shorter durations in future if demand arises.

V)        NOC from the employer shall be produced in case the candidate is employed elsewhere.

VI)       Experience certificate in original, if any.

VII)      The above positions are purely on temporary basis and are co-terminus with the project.

VIII)    The continuation of the positions depends upon the progress reviewed every six months.

Animal Attendant post at BHU, Varanasi

BANARAS HINDU UNIVERSITY

Applications are invited for the post of Animal Attendant with a Salary of Rs.11,068/- pm in an ICMR Sponsored Project entitled “ROLE OF VAGUS IN THE PULMONARY CHANGES PRODUCED BY INDIAN RED SCORPION VENOM IN RATS AS WELL AS IN ANIMAL MODELS OF ARDS” sanctioned up to two years or termination of the project, whichever is earlier. The post is temporary and co-terminus with the project. The candidates should have Intermediate Science or B.Sc with 3 years experience in laboratory work.

The upper Age Limit is 30 Years (relaxable up to 5 years for female/SC/ST/Physically Handicapped candidates or for the duration of work in the earlier project/scheme in BHU.). All things being equal, SC/ST candidates will preferred as per GOI rules.

Desirable qualification: experience in handling, caring and breeding of laboratory animals.
