 (2) Qualifications with Specialization:

BIOCHEMISTRY & BIOPHYSICS (i) & (ii) M.Sc. in any branch of life Science with specialization in: (i)Biophysics is preferred with interest in Bioinformatics and crystallography (ii)Biochemistry /Biophysics with interest in radiation and cancer biology.

BOTANY :M.Sc. in Botany/Microbiology/Molecular Biology/ Biotechnology with specialization in: (i) Mycology & Plant Pathology/Microbiology, (ii) Plant Pathology / Microbiology / Biochemistry.

ZOOLOGY: I: M.Sc. in Zoology with specialization in [i] Fish & Fisheries/ Fisheries and Ecology, Environmental Science [ii & iii] Any branch of Life Science [iv]M.Sc. in Zoology / Env. Sc. With any specialization.

 Candidates must pass Master's Degree with 55% or above in their respective subjects & qualify NET/GATE/SLET Examination in their relevant subject(s) / discipline(s).

(4) Others: As per rules of UGC/State Government.
