Applications are invited from
suitable candidates for one position of Junior Research Fellow in a DST
funded research project entitled "Characterizing the signaling network
that sustains oral cancer stem cells for developing a targeted therapy"
at Rajiv Gandhi Centre for Biotechnology, Thiruvananthapuram.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS
|
|
First class in any branch of Life
Science with a valid UGC/CSIR Certification.
Additional Qualification: Experience in mammalian cell culture, FACS, Immunoflourescence and immunohistochemistry is desirable. |
|
AGE:
Below 30 years
|
|
EMOLUMENTS:
Rs. 16,000/- + 20% HRA per month.
|
|
Duration:2
½ years or till termination of the project (whichever is earlier).
|
|
Only those fulfilling the above
criteria need apply and in the event of more than 10 candidates being
short-listed for selection procedure, a written test will be held. Candidates
qualifying in the written test will then be assessed at a selection
interview.

experience to reach the undersigned on or before 20th August, 2012. Envelopes
must be superscripted with abbreviated title of the project, advertisement
number and job title. Selection to the position will not entitle the
candidate to any future positions at RGCB (permanent or otherwise). As with
all project positions at RGCB, the position will be co terminus with end of
the project.
