A WALK IN Interview has been scheduled for filling up few positions of RA, on contractual basis till the termination of the project whichever is earlier, extendable till the project is continued subject to satisfactory performance of service under the project implemented in the Assam Agricultural University, as per schedule given below. Intending candidates having requisite qualifications may report at the office of the undersigned and submit application in plain paper enclosing the bio-data and mentioning the post applied for along with attested copies of certificates and other testimonials as per date, time and venue mentioned below.
NAME OF THE PROJECT: Horticulture Mission for NE and Himalayan Region (MM-I)
NAME & NO. OF POSITION: Research Associate (RA) 4 vacancies at Jorhat (2 nos.), RARS, Diphu (1 no) and CRS, Tinsukia (1 no.)
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION: 1st class M.Sc (Agri) in Horticulture/Plant Breeding and Genetics/Agricultural Biotechnology/ Crop Physiology/ Agril. Biochemistry /Plant Pathology/ Entomology and Soil Science.
DESIRABLE:
1) Good knowledge on computer application
2) Experience in tissue culture laboratory (Required against one vacancy)
PAY & ALLOWANCES: Rs. 23,000 + HRA + MA (pre-revised)
