A walk-in-interview for selection of candidates for the positions of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) under the DBT funded project on "Assessment of Genetic Diversity and identification of Gender Specific Markers of Important North-East and South Indian Rattan Palms using SSR analysis" will be held at the office of the HOD, Dept of PBG.
NAME OF THE POST: JRF
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATION: M. Sc.(Agri) in Plant Breeding and Genetics/Agricultural Biotechnology/Agricultural Biochemistry/Molecular Biology and Biotechnology/M.Sc in Biotechnology and allied fields of life sciences.
DURATION:3 years or till termination of the project, which ever is earlier (subject to the satisfactory performance)
FELLOWSHIP:Rs.16,000/- + 10% HRA for the 1st &2nd year for JRF and Rs. 18,000/- +10% HRA for 3rd year for SRF. This will be applicable only if JRF/SRF is NET/GATE qualified, otherwise it shall be Rs.12,000/-+10% HRA for the 1st &2nd year for JRF and Rs. 14,000/- +10% HRA for 3rd year for SRF.
Interested candidates are requested to appear the interview with applications in plain paper along with bio-data and supporting testimonials at 2 pm on 27-1-2012. No TA/DA is admissible for attending the interview.
