Under the direct supervision of the Consultant (Seed System Specialist/Seed Dissemination & Communication Expert/GIS Specialist) the ADO will assist in collecting qualitative and quantitative information related sedds production, distribution, networking, capacity building of the stakeholders. He/she will also assist in conducting field demonstrations, survey, gathering data to produce reports for the project management.
MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
• Assist in collection of agricultural related information from field
• Assist in conducting survey by gathering information from different types of stakeholders
• Enter all data into computerized formats
• Maintain records of training imparted to the project partners and stakeholders
• Update the collected field information monthly, quarterly, and as when required
• Assist in maintaining demonstration and research databases
• Assist in preparing quarterly and annual progress report for the project
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
• Bachelor degree in Agricultural related fields
• 3-5 years related work experience
• Good knowledge of agriculture practices, experience of using survey formats and tools for collection of qualitative and quantitative information, and conducting field demonstrations and farmers' trainings
• Good communication skills; proficiency in local language is an asset
• Should be able to drive motorcycles and a valid driver's license for the same
