PROJECT TITLE: Isolation and Characterization of species specific repetitive DNA families from Saccharum spontaneum and Saccharum Officinarum and their use in characterization of individual chromosomes of corresponding species
PRINCIPAL INVESTIGATORS: Dr. Sundip Kumar, Associate Professor & PI, (Project No. 5, Programme support Mode DBT)
CONSOLIDATED FELLOWSHIP: Rs. 12000/- pm
NATURE OF POST: temporary
DURATION: 3 years or till the date of completion of the project, whichever is earlier.
The appointment shall be given on six monthly review basis.
QUALIFICATION: ESSENTIAL: M. Sc. Degree Biotechnology/Genetics and Plant Breeding/Life Sciences Biotechnology/ Biotechnology
DESIRABLE: Experience in classical or molecular cytogenetics
