Globally Healthcare Systems, including hospitals are experiencing metamorphic changes. These changes have been triggered, to some extent by the enhanced expectations of recipients on one hand and of healthcare providers on the other. However, when analyzing the force multipliers actually responsible for bringing about unprecedented changes in the health arena, one cannot ignore the crucial role played by Healthcare Infrastructure and Medical Technology - the two key factors that have impacted and are likely to transform Patient Care Delivery in the days to come
Keeping in view the catalyst nature of the these multipliers, it is essential that all recent advancements and future trends related to Healthcare Infrastructure and Medical Technology be discussed, deliberated and analyzed to create a win-win situation for all stakeholders in the healthcare delivery subset
The Department of Hospital Administration, AIIMS in collaboration with World Health Organization (WHO), School of Planning and Architecture (SPA), The Indian Institute of Architects (NC) and Academy of Hospital Administration (AHA), has taken the lead to organize an International Conference on Recent Advances and Future Trends in Healthcare Infrastructure and Medical Technology (HIMT 2011), to be held from February 2-5, 2011, at All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi, India
The Aim of the Conference is to provide an enabling platform of synergy to the Promoters, Healthcare Providers, Administrators, Architects, Engineers, Project Managers & Consultants, Equipment Manufacturers and Pharma Industry and other Stakeholders for Knowledge Enhancement, Skill Acquisition, and Networking in a multi-dimensional and multi-faceted sphere of Healthcare Infrastructure and Medical Technology
The Objectives of HIMT 2011 are:
  • To deliberate upon recent advances and future trends in healthcare infrastructure and its impact on healthcare delivery.
  • To discuss the advancements and future applications of medical technology in healthcare.
  • To dwell upon the impact of technological advances on patient-care provisioning.
  • To emphasise the importance of stakeholder synergy and networking in providing optimal healthcare services.
The Scientific Program of the Conference addresses the needs of healthcare and hospital administrators, medical directors/CEOs of public and corporate hospitals, clinicians, policy makers, hospital architects & engineers, project consultants, healthcare insurance providers, experts from healthcare infrastructure & construction industry, pharmaceutical and medical equipment manufacturers, financers associated with healthcare industry, disaster management experts and researchers, academicians, nursing administrators, equipment and pharma executives, other sectoral representatives - from commerce & finance, banking, IT, students & trainees in medical architecture, health and hospital management

The registration rates for delegates in the HIMT 2011 conference are:
  • Indian Nationals
·         Registration fee per delegate - Rs.3000.
·         For early birds (up to 31st Oct, 2010), registration fee per delegate - Rs.2500.
·         For all spot registrations, registration fee per delegate - Rs.4000
·         For spouses, registration fee - Rs.2000.
  • Foreign Nationals
·         The registration fee per delegate - US$ 100 or equivalent in Rs.
·         For early birds (up to 31st Oct, 2010), registration fee per delegate - US$ 75 or equivalent in Rs.
·         For all spot registrations, registration fee per delegate - US$ 150 or equivalent in Rs.
·         For spouses, registration fee - US$ 70 or equivalent in Rs.
  • Students
·         The Registration Fee per student (limited seats) - Rs. 1,500
The Registration Fee includes the conference kit, lunch and tea/coffee for 3 days. Spouses are entitled to lunch and tea/coffee.
The last date for Registrations is 25th December, 2010. You are requested to register at the earliest.
