EMPLOYMENT NOTIFICATION

NIOH invites application from exceptional motivated persons who are committed to teaching & serving and conducting Research in the field of Disability Rehabilitation for contractual faculty position in the department of Rehab Engineering as per the post given below:

01	Associate Professor (01) On contract basis on consolidated amount of Rs.50,000/- per month	M.E./M. Tech. in Mechanical/ Biomedical/ Electronics/ Computer/I.T. with three years teaching/research experience. Desirable: Ph.D. in Rehab/biomedical Engineering.
02	Assistant Professor (01) On contract basis on consolidated amount of Rs.45,000/- per month	ME/M. Tech. in Mechanical/ Biomedical/ Electronics/ Computer/I.T. Desirable: Ph.D. in Rehab/biomedical Engineering.
03	Lab. Assistant / Coordinator (01) On contract basis on consolidated amount of Rs.15,000/- per month.	B .E. /B. Tech. in Electronics/biomedical or Related Field.

GENERAL CONDITIONS:

1. 2. Upper age limit for SC/ST/Ex-serviceman/PH/OBC as per Govt.

3. The reservation shall be applied as per rules of GOI.

4. Candidates working in Govt./Autonomous bodies should apply through proper channel.

5. Selected candidates may have to work at Kolkata or elsewhere at centers of the Institute.

6. The Institute reserves the rights to relax the qualification/experience/age in case of deserving candidate (s) may get offer of appointment in lower post/scale against the posts.

7. The above posts are contractual / term appointment basis.

8. The candidate selected shall abide by terms and conditions laid down for such contract staff.

9. The Institute reserves the right to reject any or all application without giving any reasons whatsoever.
