PROJECT NAME: P(09-1) Functional Promiscuity of Arginase in Aspergillus Niger Metabolism
POST: SRF: (1 Post)
ELIGIBILITY: M.Sc. with at least 2 years of experience in handling/ working with Aspergillus strains
SALARY: Consolidated salary Rs.18000/- p.m.
JOB PROFILE: Biochemical and molecular biology characterization of arginase and arginine metabolism of Aspergillus niger. It is also anticipated to study the Manganese nutrition of this fungus.
Centre for Technology Alternatives for Rural Areas (CTARA)
PROJECT NAME: P(09-2) Demonstration and Assessment of VSBK (vertical shaft brick kiln) in Konkan
POST: RA1: (1 Post)
ELIGIBILITY: The candidates should have qualification equivalent to: BE / BTech / ME / MTech (Mechanical /Chemical /Environmental /Energy /Production /Industrial /Civil /Metallurgy and Material Science /Agricultural Engineering) Or MBA (Rural Management) Or M.Sc. (Physics /Chemistry /Geology etc.) Knowledge of Marathi is essential. Experience with Field work and Laboratory work will be beneficial

ELIGIBILITY: The candidate should have passed M. Sc. in organic chemistry with a first class and also qualified either CSIR/UGC (NET) or GATE exams. M. Sc. project in synthetic organic chemistry is desired. Basic knowledge of carbohydrate chemistry is essential.

ELIGIBILITY: BE/BTech/MTech/ME in Mechanical, Electrical, Metallurgical Engineering with > 70% marks at all levels (including high school). Experience in clean room processing and thin film fabrication will be given preference.

JOB PROFILE: Fabricate micron to nano scale thin films and conduct in situ experiments.
PROJECT NAME: P(09-7) Network Enabled Online Casting Simulation System (E-FOUNDRY)
POST: SSE: (1 Post)
ELIGIBILITY: (a) First class in M.E./M.Tech. in Mechanical, Production or Computer Engineering; (b) Strong programming skills in Visual C# or C++, for large codes (5K+ lines); (c) At least one year experience in developing 3D graphics/simulation software.
SALARY: Consolidated salary Rs.45000/- p.m.
JOB PROFILE: Develop the system architecture, databases, solver, pre-processor and post-processor of an online 3D metal casting solidification simulation system for educational purposes.
