RECRUITMENT FOR PROJECT
Applications are invited from the citizens of India for filling up the following temporary position for the sponsored project undertaken in the Centre for Environmental Science and Engineering of this Institute. The positions are temporary initially for a period of 1 Year and tenable only for the duration of the project. The requisite qualification & experience etc. are given below:
PROJECT CODE, PROJECT TITLE & FUNDING AGENCY: 10ES002: "Preventive Technological Interventions for Improving Environmental Attributes of Ship Recycling in Alang" (Environmental Science & Engineering)
1. POSITION & SALARY: Research Engineer (1 Post )
CONSOLIDATED SALARY: Rs.14000 to 17000/- p.m.
QUALIFICATION: First class graduate engineer (Chemical, Civil or Environmental Engineer; Chemical Engineer preferred) with research interests in the field of Environmental Science and Engineering. Research experience desirable.
JOB PROFILE: The work involves field activities in ship dismantling, repairing and recycling yards in India as well as laboratory analyses, experimentation, mathematical modeling and data interpretation.
2. POSITION & SALARY : Research Assistant (1 Post )
CONSOLIDATED SALARY: Rs.12000 to 15000/- p.m.
QUALIFICATION: M.Sc. in Environmental Science / Environmental Biotechnology with good academic background and demonstrated research interests in the field of Environmental Science through work experience at CSIR Labs or at IITs / Universities on research projects
JOB PROFILE: The work involves field activities in ship dismantling, repairing and recycling yards in India as well as laboratory analyses, experimentation, mathematical modeling and data interpretation.
The appointment is for time bound project and the candidate is required to work mainly for the successful completion of the project. The selection committee may offer lower or higher designation and lower or higher salary depending upon the experience and performance of the candidate in the interview.
