Applications are invited for the award of two positions of Project Assistant in the Department of Biological Sciences on consolidated salary of Rs. 7,500/- per month under ISCB funded project “Short- and mid-term effects of bio-fertilizers on wheat yield and quality in different environments” and under RKVY “Mass production of plant growth promoting rhizobacteria and arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi”. Applications possessing following qualification should apply on plain paper on the prescribed proforma given as under to Dr. A.K. Sharma, Project Leader, Deptt. GENERAL INFORMATION:

1. The appointment will be purely on temporary and ad hoc basis and Navsari Agricultural University is not bound to provide any kind of employment after completion of the project/s.

2. Knowledge of computer is essential.

3. In addition to the project work selected candidates has to do work as assign by Principal Investigator.

4. SRF post(Processing of carp fishes) at GADVASU

Walk in interview has been called for the post of Senior Research Fellow (one) at a fixed salary of Rs. 16,000/- p.m. + HRA for 1st and 2nd year and @ Rs. 18,000/- p.m.+ HRA for 3rd year, in the RKVY project entitled “Processing of carp fishes into different value added products and byproducts for enhanced economic returns (C-2) under RKVY Scheme “Enhancing livestock production in Punjab through need-based research and development Activities” (Misc-19), for a period of six months at the first instance or till the termination of the scheme whichever is earlier. The term of fellowship may be extended for further period provided the performance of the candidate is found satisfactory.

Essential Qualifications and eligibility conditions for Research Fellow:

1.  B.F.Sc./B.Sc.(Medical)/B.Sc. (Hons.) in Zoology with minimum OGPA 2.00/4.00 basis or 50% marks.

2.  M.F.Sc./M.Sc. Fisheries/Zoology with minimum OGPA of 3.40/4.00 or OCPA 6.50/10.00 or 65% marks.

3.  Knowledge of Punjabi upto Matric level.

Note: Candidates without knowledge of Punjabi will be considered only when no candidate with knowledge of Punjabi is available.

JOB REQUIREMENTS: All lab and field work related to the research project and any other duties that may be assigned from time to time by the PI.
