Walk in interview has been called for the post of Senior Research Fellow (one) at a fixed salary of Rs. 16,000/- p.m. + HRA for 1st and 2nd year and @ Rs. 18,000/- p.m.+ HRA for 3rd year, in the RKVY project entitled “Processing of carp fishes into different value added products and byproducts for enhanced economic returns (C-2) under RKVY Scheme “Enhancing livestock production in Punjab through need-based research and development Activities” (Misc-19), for a period of six months at the first instance or till the termination of the scheme whichever is earlier. The term of fellowship may be extended for further period provided the performance of the candidate is found satisfactory.
Essential Qualifications and eligibility conditions for Research Fellow:
1. B.F.Sc./B.Sc.(Medical)/B.Sc. (Hons.) in Zoology with minimum OGPA 2.00/4.00 basis or 50% marks.
2. M.F.Sc./M.Sc. Fisheries/Zoology with minimum OGPA of 3.40/4.00 or OCPA 6.50/10.00 or 65% marks.
3. Knowledge of Punjabi upto Matric level.
Note: Candidates without knowledge of Punjabi will be considered only when no candidate with knowledge of Punjabi is available.
JOB REQUIREMENTS: All lab and field work related to the research project and any other duties that may be assigned from time to time by the PI.
Candidates fulfilling the qualifications may appear in the interview alongwith their biodata, original certificates/degrees, experience certificates on 25.11.2011 at 11.30 am in the office of the Sr. Scientist-cum-Head, Deptt. of Aquaculture, College of Fisheries . No TA/DA is permissible for appearing in the interview and no separate latter for the interview will be issued.
