Applications are invited on plain paper from the eligible candidates for the following temporary post in the UGC sanctioned major research project entitled “Assessment of Environmental Implications of Onsite Sanitation System on Ground water quality in Rural area of Punjab.”

PRINCIPAL INVESTIGATOR: Dr Suman Mor

PROJECT FELLOW: One position (co-terminus with project) of project fellow with a consolidated salary of Rs. 14000/- p.m.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• A second class Master’s Degree with a minimum of 55% marks in Environmental Science/ Environment and Solid Waste Management/ Environment Engineering

• Age below 40 years

Candidates who qualified UGC NET/ PU Ph.D entrance test will be given preference

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

The candidate should have knowledge in the related field and should be willing to conduct independent field work/data collection.

Applications along with bio-data (along with phone numbers and email) and attested copies of certificates and work experience should reach to the undersigned latest by 21 May 2012 by post or email.

TITLE OF PROJECT: Preparation and characterization of polylactide (PLA)-polyethylene blends and its degradability studies

POSITION: JRF/SRF/RA (One)

QUALIFICATIONS:

JRF: First class B.E/B.Tech. (Chemical Engg/Polymer Engg./Biochemical,Engg./Biotechnology/Environmental Engg.) with two years of relevant research experience supported by publications with NET/GATE exam qualified.

SRF: First Class M.E./M.Tech. (Chemical Engg/Polymer Engg./Biochemical Engg./Biotechnology/Environmental Engg.) with minimum 2 yrs relevant experience.

RA: Ph.D. in (Chemical Engg/Polymer Engg./Biochemical Engg.) or Ph.D. thesis submitted

DURATION OF PROJECT: Duration of the project is three years however initial appointment shall be for one year with the possibility of further extension. The appointment shall be purely temporary in nature.
