Applications are invited for the following
posts under two projects on purely temporary and contract basis for one year.

Project
1: “Monitoring the Therapeutic Efficacy of
Antimalarial Medicines in India”
Post- 1 : Technician - (Two)- On
consolidated salary of Rs. 16,560/- p.m. (No other allowances)
Qualification & Experience: 12th pass in Science
subject and two year diploma (DMLT or PMW or radiology/radiography or required
subjects) or 12th pass in science subject with one year DMLT and one
year required experience in a recognized organization as Technician ‘B’ or two
years field/laboratory experience or Animal House keeping in Govt recognized
Organization or B.Sc Degree. Knowledge of computer applications.
Desirable: - Science Graduate with 5 years experience in
Laboratory and Field work.
Job Requirement: He/ She will help in imparting training at the
site during the initiation of the study as well as quality check of slides at
Central Monitoring Unit. Age:- Below 30 Years
Post- 2: Research
Assistant – (One) - On consolidated salary of Rs. 27,945/- p.m. (No other
allowances).
Qualification & Experience: Graduate in Science/ required
subjects from a recognized University with one year DMLT course or three years
diploma in engineering (or any relevant required discipline) from a recognized
institution or graduate with one year relevant experience in the lower grade or
one year field/lab experience from a recognized institution. Knowledge of
Computer Applications.
Job Requirement: He/She will be responsible in updating CRF as per
requirements of study, data verification, record keeping of CRF, ICF and CF,
all types of data analysis related to scientific activities, presentation
preparation, supervising data entry and record maintenance. Age:-

Post- 3: Data Entry
Operator – (Two)- On consolidated salary of Rs. 16,560 /- p.m. (No other
allowances, one for Project work at NIMR, one for Project work at NVBDCP)
Qualification & Experience: 12th Pass in science
stream with Mathematics as a subject from recognized board or DOEACC ‘A’ level
from a recognized institute and 2 years experience in EDP work in
Govt./Autonomous/PSU or recognized institution or Bachelor’s degree in Computer
Application/IT/Computer Science from a recognized institution/University. A speed
test of not less than 15000 key depressions per hour through speed test on
computer.
Job Requirement: He/She will help in data entry all type of
computer work related to scientific activities and record keeping etc.

Post- 4: Office
Assistant– (One)- On consolidated salary of Rs. 16,560 /- p.m. (No other
allowances).
Qualification &
Experience: Graduate with three year experience with Diploma in Computer
Applications
Desirable: Experience in
Project related official work, data entry and record keeping etc. He/she will
help for day today correspondence, maintaining files related to administrative
and financial activities of the project.
Age: Below 28 years
Post- 5:-
Laboratory Attendant– (Two)- On consolidated salary of Rs. 14,490 /- p.m. (No other
allowances, one for project work at NIMR and one for project work at NVBDCP)
Qualification & Experience: 10th Pass in Science
Subject from recognized board with one year Office cum Lab and Field work
experience.
Job Requirement: He/She
will help the Officer in filing, dispatch of documents related to study,
delivering of study material, and field/ Lab work etc. Age:-
Below 28 Years
Post- 6:-
Office Attendant– (One)-On consolidated salary of Rs. 14,490 /- p.m. (No other
allowances).
Qualification & Experience: 10th Pass from
recognized board with one year experience.
Job Requirement: He/She
will assist the technicians and Scientist in carrying out the tests in terms of
assisting in Administrative & scientific work etc. Age:-
Below 28 years
PROJECT-2: “Quality Assurance of Malaria Rapid
Diagnostic Tests (Phase 3)”
Post-1: Research
Fellow
– (One)- On consolidated salary of Rs. 23,400/- p.m.(No other allowances).
Qualification & Experience: Post graduate in Life Science, experience in
handling of clinical & biological data, handling modern equipments
including HPLC. Knowledge of computer application.
Job Requirement: He/She will be responsible for laboratory work
related to panel sera, slide bank, coding / decoding etc. Age:-
Below 30 years.
Post- 2: Technician - (One)- On
consolidated salary of Rs. 16,000/- p.m. (No other allowances).
Qualification & Experience: 12th pass in Science

Relaxable for
SC/ST/OBC and other candidates as per Govt.
rules and
also for deserving candidates. Candidates working in long term projects in ICMR
& Its Institutes/Centers shall be given one time age relaxation upto five
years for the post advertised.
