Applications are invited from suitable
candidates for one position of Junior Research Fellow in aBRNS funded research
project entitled "Association
between stemness and TCTEX1 expression in testicular germ cells from adult
mouse testis" at Rajiv Gandhi Centre for Biotechnology,
Thiruvananthapuram.
ESSENTIAL
QUALIFICATIONS: First
class in all qualifying examinations and a Masters Degree in any branch of
Biological Sciences with command in cellular and molecular biology. Experience
in cell culture and gene cloning and expression will be desirable. Having
qualified in any of the National Screening Examinations conducted by
CSIR/UGC/DBT/ICMR will be an added credit
AGE: Below 30 years
EMOLUMENTS: Rs. 16,000/- per month. HRA
applicable rates/Hostel fee at actuals will be reimbursed by BRNS.
DURATION: 2 years 4 months or till
termination of the project (whichever is earlier).
Only those fulfilling the above
criteria need apply and in the event of more than 10 candidates being
short-listed for selection procedure, a written test will be held. Candidates
qualifying in the written test will then be assessed at a selection interview.

positions at RGCB, the position will be co terminus with end of the project.
