purely project based temporary positions under DST funded project
entitled “Threat Assessment and Conservation of Himalayan Silver Birch (Betula
utilis D. Don): A Keystone Species in Timberline Zone Of Central Himalaya,
Uttarakhand”. Candidates having appropriate qualifications in relevant
subject/specialization with consistently good academic records and experience
may apply.
POSITIONS
AND EMOLUMENTS:
Research Associate (01), Rs. 24,000
pm+ HRA.
QUALIFICATION: Ph. D degree in Botany/Forestry
/Environmental Science with first class or 55% marks in master degree.
DESIRABLE: Working/ experience in High altitude areas/ Remote
Sensing and Knowledge of Computer.
POSITIONS
AND EMOLUMENTS: Project Fellow (01) , Rs. 14,000 pm+ HRA.
QUALIFICATION: First class master degree in
Botany/ Forestry /Environmental Science.
DESIRABLE: Knowledge of Remote Sensing/GIS/
Computer and working experience in high altitude areas.
POSITIONS
AND EMOLUMENTS: Field Assistant (01), Rs. 7,000 pm fixed
QUALIFICATION: High School with second division
DESIRABLE: Knowledge and experience of
field work/trekking in High altitude
areas.
