Walk-in-Interview will be held on
3rd July 2012 at 3:00 P.M. in the Seminar Room of the Plant Biology Division at
Centenary Campus of Bose Institute, P-1/12, C.I.T. Scheme VII-M, Kankurgachi,
Kolkata – 700 054 for one position of Research Associate OR Senior Research
Fellow (Extended) in the DBT sponsored Project entitled “Generation of salt-tolerant rice : A translational approach” under
Prof. A.N. Lahiri Majumder, Coordinator of the project and Principal Investigator
of Sub-project I & II, Division of Plant Biology (Centenary Campus). The
project is tenable upto 5th October, 2015. Details of qualification, associateship/fellowship, age
etc. are as follows:
ESSENTIAL
QUALIFICATION:
Ph. D. degree in any branch of Life Sciences with research experience in Plant
Molecular Biology / Biotechnology.
Candidates those who have
submitted their Ph.D. Thesis may apply for SRF(Extended) position.
ASSOCIATESHIP : Rs. 22,000/- p.m., plus
admissible HRA for RA / Rs. 20,000/- p.m., plus admissible HRA for
SRF(Extended).
AGE : Below 35 years (relaxable in
case of SC/ST/OBC/WOMEN candidates only as per rule).
Eligible and interested
candidates should appear before the Selection Committee with a typed
application addressed to the Registrar, Bose Institute,P – 1/12, C.I.T. Scheme
VII-M, Kankurgachi, Kolkata – 700 054 along with bio-data giving details of
qualification i.e. examination passed, year, division, percentage of marks from
Secondary onwards with attested copies of Certificates, Mark-sheets and
Testimonials. The candidates should also bring the original mark-sheets,
certificates etc. at the time of interview.
No TA/DA is admissible for
appearing at the Interview.
