WALK-IN INTERVIEW

Eligible and interested candidates may attend a ‘Walk-in-Interview’ for the post of Junior Research Fellow (Two Posts) under the DST Sponsored Project entitled, “Analysis of Climate Changes During the Quaternary from Glacial Sites in India Based on Multi-Proxy Data” under the guidance of Dr. N.C. Mehrotra, Director & Principal Investigator tenable at the Institute.

NAME OF POST: Junior Research Fellow

NO. OF POST: Two

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE: Ist class M.Sc. in Botany/ Geology with consistently good academic records.

NET qualified candidates would be preferred.

AGE LIMIT: 28 yrs*

SALARY: Rs.16,000/- p.m. plus 20% HRA (Ist & 2nd year and Rs.18000/-+ HRA (for the 3rd year )

DURATION: Three years or Co-terminus with the project.

*Age relaxation is admissible for candidates who belongs to SC/ ST/ OBC Candidates as per Government of India rules.

Interested candidates may appear before the Selection Committee on 20.04.2012 at 11 AM in the Committee Room of the Institute for Interview along with applications/bio-data on plain paper with original and attested copies of mark sheets/certificates. The incumbent shall have no implicit or explicit claim of regular absorption in any post in the Institute or the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India. NO TA will be admissible.
