JOB DESCRIPTION: The person is expected to handle
cellular and molecular immunological techniques such as cell culture, Elisa,
flow-cytometry, Western blots, PCRs, cell transfections.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Ph.D. or M.D. Only those candidates who have at least submitted their thesis
for PhD at the time of application or have already obtained the degree should
apply.
EXPERIENCE: The previous experience in the
fields of immunology, molecular biology, cellular biochemistry is preferred.
Others who have experience in the broad field of biology may also apply.
EMOLUMENTS:
The selected candidates will draw
consolidated emoluments as per Institute Rules. There are three different slabs
for Research Associate. The selected candidates may be placed in any of the
below categories depending upon qualification & Experience:-
1). Fresh PhD is expected to get
Rs. 22,000 plus 30% HRA and Rs. 21,000 + 30 % HRA (If thesis has been submitted
and result awaited
2). Rs. 23,000 plus HRA those who
have one year experience after Ph.D.
3). Rs. 24,000 plus HRA those who
have more than 2 year Experience after Ph.D.
GENERAL TERMS AND
CONDITIONS:-
1. Initially the offer will be given for one
year that is extendable upto the end of the tenure of the project, based on performance.
2. The post exists in sponsored
project and is purely temporary. There shall be no claim for regularisation
against any core posts of the Institute.
3. The candidates selected for the above post
will be on contract for one year or duration of the project whichever is shorter,
at a time.
4. No hostel/ housing facility
will be provided.
5. Applicants may clearly mention the category
they belong to i.e. SC/ST/OBC/PH and attach
documentary proof of the same.
7. No TA/DA will be paid for
attending the interview if called for.
8. Names of three referees should
be provided along with their contact details.

letters of recommendation should be included. Short listed candidates will be
required to submit attested copies of all their certificates and a Demand Draft
of Rs 100/- drawn on Canara Bank or
Indian Bank payable at Delhi / New Delhi in favour of the Director, NII
(SC/ST/PH are exempted subject to submission of documentary proof), at the time
of interview.
