Applications are invited from eligible candidates for filling up of one post of “Junior Research Fellow” on adhoc basis for projected entitled “Perception & Identification of Ragas of Indian Classical Music: An Exploratory electrophysiological study” funded by the Department of Science & Technology (DST), under Dr Shantala Hegde, Senior Scientific Officer, & Principal Investigator, Cognitive Psychology Unit, Center for Cognition & Human Excellence, Department of Clinical Psychology, National Institute of Mental Health & Neuro Sciences (NIMHANS) and Principal Investigator.

1. NAME OF THE POST: Junior Research Fellow

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION M Sc or MA degree in Psychology,Cognitive Psychology , Neuroscience from a recognized University with UGC-NET qualification

DESIRABLE additional qualification Candidates with basic training in any form of Indian classical music & CANDIDATES WITH BASIC TRAINING OR EXPOSURE TO EEG/ERP TECHNIQUE WILL BE PREFERRED

AGE LIMIT: 35 years

EMOLUMENTS: As per the DST guidelines (16,000/- + 30% HRA p.m)

DURATION OF THE POST: Appointment will be made for a period of 5 months
